Trigger Point Therapy

A massage technique that involves applying sustained pressure to specific trigger points in the muscles to alleviate pain, release muscle tension, and promote healing. The goal is to reduce muscle tension, improve range of motion, and enhance muscle function.

Deep Tissue

Used focuses on the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues. Unlike a regular or Swedish massage, which primarily aims to relax the body, deep tissue massage is more focused on treating muscle pain and stiffness by applying firm pressure and slow strokes

Myofascial Release- MFT

Myofascial therapy, also known as myofascial release, is a massage technique that focuses on relieving pain in the myofascial tissues, which are the thick connective tissues that support muscles12345. The goal of this therapy is to stretch and loosen the fascia, allowing for improved mobility and reduced pain

Active Release Technique

Active Release Techniques (ART) are a soft tissue method that focuses on relieving tissue tension via the removal of fibrosis/adhesions. ART release entrapped nerves, vasculature and lymphatics, re-establish optimal texture, and resilience and function of soft tissues

Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient healing technique where cups are placed on the skin to create suction1. The suction pulls the skin upward, which may help relax and lengthen muscles, relieve pain, and promote blood flow.

I.A.S.T.M

Instrument-assisted, soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is a myofascial release and massage technique. It is also known as the Graston technique. To perform IASTM, a metal or plastic tool is used to provide soft tissue massage and mobilization. IASTM is an advanced form of myofascial mobilization that is primarily used to detect and release scar tissue, adhesions, and fascial restrictions

Neuromuscular Re-Education

Neuromuscular re-education is a technique used to restore normal body movement patterns. It focuses on improving motor control, coordination, and proprioception by engaging the nervous system during exercise

Red Light Therapy

Red light therapy sends low-intensity red and near-infrared light deep into the body’s cells to promote healing. Red light therapy has several potential benefits for pain relief including healing bones, nerves, skin, tendons, and ligaments, reducing inflammation, increasing range of motion, improving muscle activity, relieving chronic pain conditions

Percussion Therapy

Percussion gun therapy, also called percussive therapy, is a type of massage treatment that uses a handheld device called a "percussion gun" to deliver rapid, pulsating pressure to muscles, aiming to relieve muscle tension, improve blood flow, and accelerate muscle recovery by stimulating the soft tissues with vibrations and targeted pressure

Weighted Heat Therapy

A weighted heating pad takes heat therapy to the next level by adding pressure and heat to the affected area. Heat therapy has been shown to relieve pain caused by muscle injuries and soreness

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot stone therapy is a great modality to help heal the body. Benefits include pain relief, improved circulation, reduced stress and anxiety, improved sleep, improved flexibility detoxification, skin improvement, helps with autoimmune diseases, helps with faster injury recoveries, and helps with carpal tunnel, fibromyalgia, and arthritis/rheumatoid arthritis.

Cold Stone Therapy

Cold stone massage therapy involves chilling smooth stones on ice and then gently placing or rolling them over the affected areas of the body. The cooling sensations from this type of cryotherapy cause vasoconstriction of the blood vessels. Cold stones can promote circulation, reduce inflamed swelling, decrease muscle spasms, and acts as a powerful decongestant for the body.
